On myspace, if you go to the "view all" on someone's friends list, you are given the option where you can type in someone's display name, full name, myspace url or email. How do you take this option away, so that people CAN'T search?

I don't think you can remove that search bar... but you can get a code to make all your friends private so that others can't see them at all.

go into the "edit profile" and change your privacy settings. You can make your friends list not viewable to anyone.

you cannt make it certain because people can just change the url and use your user id, you can only hide them on your profile, .. this wont stop people snooping.
