How do you get the star symbol in your name on myspace?

I have seen this question asked again and again...

but I cant seem to find the answer.

%26amp; hearts ; makes 閳?br> But what is the equivalent of that to a star.

This is gonna bug me forever.

Also how do you make a smiley face. I can tell its a symbol.

and not just a :).

I have seen them I just cant find how people do them.

When you use one of these for your name, myspace will change the code automatically and show the characters you typed, so you have to copy/paste it from another page for it to show up correctly.
